About us
Our History and
Business
PulseHR Inc. is a
privately-owned healthcare recruiting agency
based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We introduced our operation
in August 2002 as an employment service
for medical,
nursing, healthcare and biotechnology
professionals in North America and worldwide,
with the focus on Canada and the United States. On September 3,
2002, PulseHR acquired the
status of a Canadian
Corporation (corporation
number 601619-7), incorporated under the
Canada Business Corporations Act.
In October 2002, the company was recognized as
an 'Active' member by the National Association of
Physician Recruiters (USA).
Less than four years
from its inception, the company became one of
the major players in the field of international
recruitment in North America. We maintain a
strong specialization in the
recruitment and deployment of qualified and
experienced
foreign-trained Registered Nurses into
the United States and Canada.
We currently have
more than 8300 active registered job seekers, over
80
employers, 8 recruiting partners abroad, 9
partners in the United States and Canada, more
than 1300 job postings, over 600 subscribers to
our newsletter, and growing!

From the Job Seeker Perspective
Job
seekers specializing in a health-related field
can use our site to locate and apply for jobs -
with little time spent and absolutely no cost
involved. Job seekers can post up to 3 profiles
on our site. Each of the profiles can be placed
in one of the 5 job categories: Medicine,
Nursing, Allied Health Services, Dentistry, and
Biotechnology Industry.
When searching for jobs, candidates have the
option to review quick summaries -
before reading
full and often lengthy job descriptions.
Job
seekers can apply for all posted jobs directly;
view direct contact information of the hiring
organizations (if provided by employers); trace
the number of employers who have viewed their
profiles; track the jobs they have applied for;
manage and update their profiles; receive e-mail
notifications for new jobs, and
more. We
hope that job seekers will find our site
convenient and easy to use.
We also offer
placement to
foreign-trained Registered Nurses located
both in and outside Canada and the United
States. We do not charge nurses for any of our
services. Moreover, sponsorship with licensing
and immigration is offered to those nurses who
satisfy our selection criteria.

We gather job seekers information very
carefully. When job seekers post their
profiles, they fill out a very detailed application form, which was designed to
reflect a multitude of possibilities for various fields of expertise, such as Medicine,
Nursing, Allied Health, Dentistry, and
Biotechnology. In addition to filling out the form, candidates are
encouraged to attach their own resume and cover letter. Each profile is conveniently presented as
a summary and in full. This way
you get the most comprehensive information which
is still easy to read and easy to follow.
We offer various
membership packages and subscriptions, which
ensure uninterrupted exposure to all job seekers, continuous and fast access to all profiles/resumes, and
what's very important - they bring the cost of an
individual order to a minimum.
In addition to domestic
recruitment, PulseHR provides international recruiting services, focussing on
recruitment and deployment of qualified and experienced

Our
Management Our management team
consists of two founders: Anna Tulchinsky and Shawn Godin.
Anna oversees our domestic and international
recruiting. Anna is a Ph.D. Candidate in Cognitive Linguistics from the
University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). Prior to PulseHR, Anna held a
technical position at Nortel Networks in Nepean (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada); prior
to that Anna was a Sessional Professor at the Department of Modern Languages and
Comparative Studies at the University of Alberta, while pursuing her doctorate
studies. Anna loves to read and travel; she loves the outdoors and particularly

Shawn is responsible for the online operations of
the company. Shawn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Acadia
University (NS, Canada). Shawn has 10 years of
experience in

an active life style and holds a Black Belt degree in ITF
